In Memoriam



Lynette Muir, one of the major scholars of medieval drama over the past fifty years, passed away on 2 July 2007. She was best known to drama scholars for four major works, Liturgy and Drama in the Anglo-Norman 'Adam' (1973), Literature and Society in Medieval France: the Mirror and the Image 1100-1500 (1985), The Biblical Drama of Medieval Europe (1995), and Love and Conflict in Medieval Drama: The Plays and Their Legacy (2007). She was also instumental in the founding of the Société Internationale pour l’Étude du Théâtre Médiéval (SITM).
