Fall 2011 - MRDS Awards for 2011

MRDS awarded three prizes in 2011 for scholarship in the field.

The David Bevington Prize was awarded to Tracey Hill for Pageantry and Power: A Cultural History of the Early Modern Lord Mayor's Show. Manchester: Manchester University Press, 2010.

The Martin Stevens Prize was awarded to James Bromley, for "Social Relations and Masochistic Sexual Practice in The Nice Valour" Modern Philology. Vol. 107, No. 4, May 2010, pp. 556-587.

The Barbara Palmer Prize was awarded to Marie Bouhaïk-Gironès for "Comment Faire L'Histoire de L'Acteur au Moyen Âge," Médiévales, 59, 2010, pp. 107-25.

The Alexandra Johnston Prize was not awarded this year.
